Illustrations enhancing text to convey a message.
Editorial illustrations are created for magazines and newspapers to enhance the reader’s experience. Infographics use imagery and text to give an easy-to-understand overview of a topic. Creating illustrations for magazines is exciting because working with an art director provides parameters within which creative solutions to visual problems evolve over time. I also have a special interest in interpretive signage and creating artwork that inspires people to learn more about nature.
